We're celebrating our most successful ever week, having just launched six websites in the five days between 4th and 9th of October 2010.
In the words of NB Communication's Managing Director, David Nicol, "It's been a very hectic week, but a hugely enjoyable one. The team here in the office has done an amazing amount of work to get these sites finished, and I'm very proud of what they've achieved. I also want to say how privileged we are to work with such a range of great clients, and I thank them all for their support and assistance".
The six sites are certainly diverse, including the new www.srt.org.uk site for Shetland Recreational Trust, a new information-packed self-help site at www.mindyourhead.org.uk for the Mind Your Head charity, and promotional sites for a professional driving trainer (www.driveshetland.com) and a self-catering flat in Lerwick (www.selfcateringlerwick.com).
Interestingly, two of the sites are for clients based in the island of Fetlar. The www.fetlar.org site, built for Fetlar Developments Ltd, aims to attract more people to visit Fetlar on holiday or to even consider re-locating to the island. Meanwhile www.broughlodge.org encourages corporate sponsors to support the Brough Lodge Trust's exciting plans to save and restore one of Shetland's most remarkable buildings.
David explains that "These projects demonstrate what our team here in Lerwick is capable of doing. Developing these sites has involved working with webcams, online donations, content management systems, search engine optimisation, online booking systems, mailing list systems, Facebook and Twitter integration, and much more besides. We're very pleased with the end results, and look forward to seeing these sites starting to generate significant benefits for each client".
