Overview

"Shetland Aquaculture" is the new name for the Shetland Salmon Farmers' Association.

The new name reflects the significant developments that the aquaculture industry in Shetland has experienced over the last few years. The industry has diversified into new species such as cod and halibut and Shetland Aquaculture now represents farmers of various species, not just salmon. In addition, membership has expanded beyond fish farmers to encompass all aspects of the industry including feed companies, hatcheries and sales companies.

The new version of the www.shetlandaquaculture.com site reflects these organisational changes.
