Here is a list of some recently launched projects in the order that they went live:

Red Houss is a small artist's studio in the east of Burra, in Shetland. The studio is owned by Mike Finnie, who paints in watercolour, hand prints Shetland images and makes silver jewellery. The website showcases the products that Mike has available for sale. You can also visit the distictive red studio.

Orkney Traditional Music Project delivers teaching of fiddle and accordion music in the Orkney Islands. The site offers information to people to encourage and inspire involvement in traditional music, as well as providing information about events. The website has a shop, selling the OTMP CD and other products, and has a password protected student area for members of the group. OTMP would encourage anyone that is interested in music to get in touch about taking part.

E&H Heating and Ventilation have over 20 years' experience in providing sustainable, low energy solutions to all heating and ventilation requirements; including heat pumps, solar thermal solutions, biomass boilers, oil boilers, underfloor heating, domestic plumbing and much more besides, offering the advice and services needed in Shetland.

The Shetland Charitable Trust launched a new website in September 2013, offering information about the organisation and highlighting what it does to help improve the quality of life for people living in Shetland. The Trust invests and helps to fund many local charitable organisations and projects, and you can find out all about its origins and history on the new site.

Shetland Family History Society offers people with an interest in family history support and guidance into studying genealogy. You can become a member of the society through the online registration system, to gain access to a wealth of data and research tips. There is also an online shop, meeting and event information and an interactive parish map on the site.

We are working on many more great projects at the moment, so keep watching this space for more details.
